With the release of Windows Vista recently, I would like to declare this the week of iterative programming.

This week (Monday 12th March) is the week of the Little Hairy Man. I don’t know what I’m talking about.

This week (beginning Monday 5th March 2007) is the week of the Excited Tiger.

This week (beginning 26th February) is the week of the Gubby Balloon. The Gubby Balloon has appeared in various different forms over the years, although more recently has taken a back seat to the rather more popular “Mount thine worthy steed… yea” collection.
The earliest sighting of Gubby Balloon was in the year 8 frenchbook. Later works including him included “The Physics Bath: Kleen ye of the filth of remeniality”

NB The following is Gubby on a Stick, and is not to be confused with Gubby Balloon.
